Transversal skills and outdoor learning

ABOUT THE COURSE

One of the major transversal skills (21st century skills) is ADAPTABILITY – the ability to adapt learning methods, materials and learning environment. Transversal skills are important for both students and teachers and represent value that go beyond a certain field or study program, and are expressed through the responsibility, social interaction, team work and personal growing. Outdoor learning relies on student skills by actively learning through direct experience, rather than a passive model of absorbing knowledge imparted by teachers.
